My Story

Hi, I’m Skyler (he/they) — ADHD life coach-in-training, storyteller, and lifelong neurodivergent human.
For most of my life, I felt like I was drifting somewhere just north of “normal.” I was the helper in a big family full of undiagnosed, diagnosed neurodivergent siblings — the one who flew under the radar while silently struggling.

It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with ADHD (combined type) at 23 that everything finally made sense. What I thought were personal failings — the unfinished projects, the job-hopping, the intense emotions —
turned out to be parts of a brain wired for different rhythms.

A diagnosis and medication gave me a new start, but understanding ADHD gave me language, tools, and self-compassion I didn’t know I needed. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in learning everything I can about ADHD — not just to help myself, but to help others feel seen, supported, and understood.

Why I Coach

Through North of Normal Life Coaching, I help neurodivergent individuals — and the people who love them — navigate life with greater clarity, connection, and confidence.

Whether you’re an adult with ADHD figuring out how to thrive, a partner learning to communicate better, or a parent trying to support your child, my work is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and emotional safety.

Together, we’ll explore how your brain works, build practical strategies, and transform how you relate — to yourself and others. Because normal was never the goal — understanding is.

You don’t have to do this the “normal” way.
